The Vernon Dog Park opened in May 2013. It remains open due to the donations of the park's friends and patrons. In 2015, we were able to open the small dog park area because of the generous donation from The Canine Clipper in Warwick NY.
The park is maintained by D.O.G.S. of Vernon (Dog Owners Gathering Society), a 501(c)(3) charitable non profit. It was established in February 2007 as a community effort to create an off-leash dog park in Vernon, NJ.
